Uniting Industry and Academia to Revolutionize Healthcare in Connecticut
Bringing practical AI to healthcare professionals across Connecticut.
Our Mission
The CT Health AI Collaborative brings together healthcare professionals, AI experts, policymakers, and visionaries from around the state of Connecticut to develop applications that enhance diagnostics, improve patient care, optimize medical processes, and reduce costs.
Relaunched in Fall 2025 — Powered by Real-World Innovation
After a quiet few months, the Collaborative returned in the fall of 2025 with a sharpened focus: empowering Connecticut's healthcare professionals to understand and apply AI in practical, ethical, and immediately useful ways.

A statewide initiative helping small and mid-sized healthcare organizations explore and implement generative AI.

Learn more »Working Groups
Topic-focused working groups where members evaluate use cases, share what works, and develop practical guidance for AI adoption in healthcare settings.
Learn more »Student & Research Projects
Student project teams and research collaborations that connect Connecticut's academic institutions with healthcare organizations exploring AI.
Learn more »Global Inspiration, Local Impact
Our team recently helped establish an AI Center of Excellence in Uganda in collaboration with the Makerere University Infectious Diseases Institute in Kampala — a WHO-aligned initiative delivering AI-driven diagnostics, training, and public health support to frontline clinics and community health workers.
That work reminded us that impactful AI does not require massive infrastructure. It requires clear use cases, practical training, and collaborative communities — exactly what we are building here in Connecticut.
“AI should amplify human care, not replace it.”
